'Cities have always developed along side trading routes from harbours, cross-roads, train stations and airports. The function is to maximize trade. Today and tomorrow are no different in that fact that we trade goods and services, however they are increasingly becoming digital. It would then make sense to build digital harbours in our cities to further facilitate this market for digital commodities. Using the analogy of harbours and trade, NUM realizes that the skyline today is streaming with valuable data and strives to create structures and applications to capture and utilize data flows'.
